2. Booking & Quotations
- Quotations provided are based on the information shared by the customer regarding inventory, distance, and service requirements
- Final charges may vary based on actual volume, weight, distance, and additional services requested at the time of the move
- A booking is confirmed only after mutual agreement on the service scope and applicable charges
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the goods to be transported, including any fragile, hazardous, or prohibited items
- Ensure someone authorized is present at the time of pickup and delivery
- Settle payments as per the agreed terms and schedule
4. Prohibited Items
Customers must not include hazardous, illegal, perishable, or restricted items (such as explosives, firearms, narcotics, or flammable substances) in the shipment. RTL Group reserves the right to refuse transportation of such items.
5. Liability & Insurance
- RTL Group takes reasonable care in handling, packing, and transporting goods
- Customers are advised to opt for transit insurance to cover potential loss or damage during transportation
- Liability for loss or damage, where applicable, is limited as per the terms agreed at the time of booking
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms, including advance and balance payment schedules, will be communicated and agreed upon at the time of booking. Delayed payments may result in delay of pickup, transit, or delivery of goods.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be communicated to RTL Group as early as possible. Charges may apply depending on the stage of booking and preparation already undertaken.
8. Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are estimated based on distance, route, and prevailing conditions. While RTL Group strives to meet committed timelines, delays due to factors beyond our control (weather, traffic, regulatory checks, force majeure) shall not be considered a breach of service.
9. Limitation of Liability
RTL Group shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays or disruptions beyond our reasonable control. Our liability, where applicable, shall be limited to the value agreed upon at the time of booking.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
11. Changes to These Terms
RTL Group reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
